​What is the difference between takeout and catering?

What is the best way to order Graze catering?
The best way is to fill out the Quick Order Form on the catering page and hit submit. Your request will automatically come to our email in basket. We will do our best to contact you the same day... via email or phone.

How far in advance do I needed to place my catering order?
The short answer is it depends...
​
In a perfect world we would like at least a week advanced notice for all catering events, but we are always happy to help with last minute requests when possible.
​
If it is a small group (under 100 people) and you are ordering from our core menu, (Lips, Tacos, Pizza) we should be able to get you set up within a day or two.
​
If it is a large group (100 - 1,000 people) and you have specialty menu items like Cheese Displays, Carving Stations and Seafood, or requests that are not on our core menu, plan on at least seven days. ​
​
Weddings and large full service events should contact us as early as possible so we can save the date and schedule the extra staff.
​
Weekends are another consideration, we are closed on Sunday. If you send your request after 5pm on Saturday - we will not see it until Monday morning.
​
We will always do our best to accommodate you, we are very resourceful, please be sure to call us or email us before you assume we can't do it.

Can I change my order or guest count after I place it.
Yes. Stuff happens and we will do our best to insure your event is a roaring success.

Can I mix and match menu options?
Absolutely. We have a wide variety of options to serve you from our Party Package to our full blown Grazing Wedding Experience.

Will you help me choose the menu and right amount of food?
Absolutely. We are experts at menu creation and party planning. Just tell us how many people, adults vs kids, lunch or dinner, and give us a rough idea of your vision. Then, we'll build a menu that meets all your individual needs - and promptly send it to you for approval. Yes, it can be that simple.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
Yes. We will work with you on special menus, diet restrictions and food allergies.

Do you have a kid friendly menu?
Definitely. Our menu has Chicken Lips , Pizza, Tacos, Mac & Cheese, and Cookies. It's a big and little kids dream menu.

How is catering priced?
Catering is priced based on the menu items you choose, not a per person wild guess. We'll help you design the perfect menu with the right amount of food.

Do you Deliver and how much does it cost?
We deliver catering within a 10 mile radius for $50. We deliver outside that radius for an additional charge. It is important to get delivery orders in early - we do have a limited delivery capacity.

Do you do third party delivery?
Yes. We use Chomp, Door Dash, Uber Eats and Grub-hub for Takeout. We also have a cool new feature called Toast delivery where you can request your take out order to be delivered through our on line ordering platform. It works great and these prices are lower than catering delivery.

Do you provide plates, napkins, silverware?
We have two levels of disposable plates and flatware available... (everyday biodegradable and super fancy) please see our takeout menu for details and pricing.

Do you have chafing dishes?
Yes. We have wire chafing dishes that you can purchase and reuse for your next tailgate party. We also have a nicer version that you can rent and return after your event. We also have stereo and lighters.

How will my catering order come to me?
Your food will be packaged in sturdy, heat proof aluminum or plastic containers with tight fitting lids.
The packaged food will be placed in sturdy cardboard boxes that hold the heat for 60-90 minutes, so your food will arrive, hot and ready to serve. Wow!

Do you require a deposit for catering events?
We require a deposit for Weddings and Large Full Service Events. For all regular catering we will take your payment information and charge your card the morning of the event.
​
How do I pay for my event?
Takeout orders go through our POS system, you pay at the time of the order. For catering orders we will take your payment information over the phone and charge your card the morning of the event.

Why do customers choose Graze over other caterers?
First, we are in the catering and takeout business only, catering and takeout TO-GO is what we do. Other restaurants that cater try to balance between dine in customers - to go customers and catering customers, that is really difficult - quality and timing suffers. By focusing on TO-GO only - We Always Hit The Mark.

Second, We offer Gourmet Comfort Food that everybody loves. Our food made from scratch, using time tested delicious recipe. Our food is easy to serve.

Do you source your food locally?
We do not claim to source our food locally. The truth is - all restaurants get their groceries from the same three companies. We do work with some excellent specialty companies who help us source exotic and unique ingredients, when we need them. We can literally get anything. We also have a small garden in the summer, where we grow fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes and hot peppers for our Pico de Gallo and Pesto.

Do you make do charitable donations?
Yes. We feed thousands of people in need every year, it is an important part of our corporate DNA. We partner with the Free Lunch Program, Agape Cafe, Hope Lodge, AYA Cancer, No Foot Too Small, local schools, and an expanding list of other non-profit organizations. ​​​​
